Thanks, Ernie! Burrard bridge was so crowded that evening, people were pushed around all the time, and it was pretty hard to keep the camera steady for 30sec. I guess I’ll go down to Vanier Park or English Bay for today’s firework.

Wow… I’ve never heard of that before. I found some articles online that describe this practise. But my guess is that it is not illigal. Canada geese are not endangered, and they might actually cause pressure on some other species if they stay there all year around. They usually use the southern US only during winter. I’ll try to find out more and will post it here.

I live in a small town in Texas that is a Bird Sanctuary.We have had no new Canada Geese,or ducks hactched in several years.I found out last nite the eggs are being sprayed so the won’t hatch.Is this legal??
